Peoples-Jones’ third-year emergence continued on Saturday night -breakthrough season for the University of Michigan
The Browns receiver didn’t have the statistical game he had six days ago in Cincinnati. However, Peeples-Jones certainly made an impact in a 13-3 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Peoples-Jones caught the only touchdown of the game, a 3-yard pass from Deshaun Watson. “It was a great game,” said Peoples-Jones, who took a quick run at first but then dropped back to mid-wicket and watched as Watson advanced for the score.
“We had that on defense that we expected, we came out and we executed.” The touchdown grab was one of four catches in the game for Peoples-Jones,
who finished with 31 receiving yards. Amari Cooper is tied for the most catches by a Browns player.
It’s the longest season by a University of Michigan product. He surpassed his career highs in catches and yards despite being a big target in the passing game.
Peoples- Jones has been targeted 84 times this season, 26 more than the 58 he did all year. He previously had 57 catches for 782 yards.
In the last three games since Watson returned from an 11-game suspension, Peeples-Jones has seen a lot of passes thrown his way.
In three games, Watson was targeted 18 times, with 15 catches for 189 yards and a touchdown.
“We’re trying to get better every week in practice and come out here in the games and show what we’re all about,” Peoples-Jones said.
