Kanye west returns to twitter after ban
The platform’s new owner Elon Musk has lifted his Twitter ban for anti-Semitism and American rapper Kanye West has returned to the micro-blogging website.

“Testing to see if my Twitter is unblocked,” the celebrity, whose name is being changed, wrote after restoring her account on Sunday.
It is unclear whether Mr Musk, who completed his purchase of Twitter last month, has approved Mr West’s return.
However, he appeared to welcome the rapper back to the platform, joking about his recent name change.
“Don’t kill what you love. Save what you love,” Mr Musk wrote in response to Mr West’s tweet. social media
West’s account was suspended last month after users deemed the post anti-Semitic. The American rapper was initially suspended from his Instagram account after he removed a post in which he accused a musician of being controlled by “Jewish people” and invoked anti-Semitic tropes.
A few days later, he tweeted, “I got little sleep tonight, but when I wake up I go to the death of the Jews”. Following his post, the micro-blogging platform removed his tweet and confirmed that his account had been locked “for violating Twitter policies”. After Mr. West’s account Not posted.
Last month, when Mr. Musk revealed that Mr. West’s Twitter account had been reinstated before the company was taken over, in response to a question he said, “He was not consulted or notified.”
Meanwhile, West’s latest tweet comes after Twitter reinstated the account of former US President Donald Trump on Friday, which had been banned from the platform since January 2021 following a Twitter poll taken by Musk.
“The people have spoken. Trump will be reappointed,” the “Chief Tweet” wrote. More than 15 million of Twitter’s 237 million daily users voted in the poll. 51.8 percent favored restoring Trump’s account, while 48.2 percent opposed.
